Including Evidence in the Report
When your district's Evidence Policy is set to Curate, you choose which evidence appears in the final report. Nothing is included until you mark it.
This applies to both packages and unpackaged evidence items — anything aligned to the rubric is a candidate.
:::note This depends on a district setting Evidence Policy is set per report type by your District Admin:
- Curate — you select what's included (this page)
- Include All — everything collected is in the report automatically; there's nothing to select
- None — no evidence appears in the report

Two Ways to Do It
From the Evidence View
As you work through the rubric, select the evidence items or packages you want, then click Include in Report. This is the quicker path when you're already reviewing a component and know what belongs.
From the Report tab
The Report tab has an Include / Exclude Evidence button that opens a dedicated workspace for the whole report at once. This is the better path for a final pass, because you can see everything and what's still unselected.
The workspace has two panes:
- Left — the framework components, each showing how many of its items are included
- Right — the selected component's evidence, packages and unpackaged items grouped by rubric row, each with a checkbox
Controls to know:
| Control | What It Does |

| All / Included / Excluded | Filters the list, so you can review just what's in, or just what isn't |
| Include all / Exclude all | Applies to every item under the component you're viewing |
| Running total | Shows how many items of the total will be included in the report |
Seeing What's Included
Two places tell you where you stand:
- The Report tab in the whole-rubric view shows counts for included evidence only, so you can spot components with nothing selected.
- Within it, the Included in report only switch hides components that have nothing marked.
